On the Tele: TRANSform Me

Has anyone been watching TRANSform Me on VH1? I just discovered this show (because DVR stays busy and I can't keep up) last week Monday, and it reeled me in. The show features 3 transgendered  females who help to makeover women who seem to have just given up on style. These ladies underwent the ULTIMATE transformation themselves, from men to women, and want to help women not only look better, but feel better about themselves.

I kept looking at Laverne Cox, pictured middle, and saying I know her from somewhere...and then it hit me. She was on I Want to Work for Diddy 2. Jaime Clayton, pictured left, is the show's make-up maven. Nina Poon, pictured right, also helps with style, along with Laverne.

Highlight: they drive around in an ambulance, complete with logo and active siren, to rescue the under-glam women. It's cute. And, the women who are asking for fashion help have no idea that 3 transgendered women are coming to her rescue. The reaction: priceless.

From the episode I saw, featuring 24-y/o Marlece, they do a really good job. It's a show that I will try to keep up with. I am a sucker for makeover TV. Here's a sneak peek at the next episode...

TRANSform Me airs on VH1, Mondays @ 10:30p.
Find out more about the show, cast, and guests at VH1.com. These ladies have a unique background story.
If you've been watching, what do you think about it? Will it survive or will it need the ambulance?
