Packing my LV Bags...

It seems LVMH just got posher. The Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy conglomerate is developing resorts using the name of its Bordeaux winery, Cheval Blanc. They have partnered with Orascom Development Holding to build high-end chain hotels, starting in Egypt. LVMH is also developing a hotel in the building of the former La Samaritaine department store in Paris (by 2013), but the name of this hotel is not determined. The company tested the concept with a first location that opened in the French ski resort Courchevel in 2006 (pictured above). Two more hotels are scheduled to join the new chain by 2012 in Oman and Egypt. Hospitality certainly doesn't get any more ritzy than this. By the time the hotels are built, I should've been able to afford one piece of Louis Vuitton luggage.
