On the Tele: Golden Globes 2011 - The "Side Eye" Looks

Last night there were some stars that made me side eye. These were the looks that just missed the mark...meaning they could've been red carpet winners but they fell just a little short of accomplishing that. So for these celebs, I gave them the side eye (and also a little squint)...

The Fashionisette's "Side Eyes" goes to:
- Christina Aguilera in Zuhair Murad: the fit was nice, and the gown wasn't too bad, but I think she missed the mark on hair and make-up totally.
- Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad: J.Lo is so pretty and has a fierce shape, but last night she could've done without the sheer overlay. Loved that she chose white. But between the make-up and that sheer piece, I thought she was on Skating with the Stars and not the red carpet. But with the least amount of tweaks, she could've been a winner.
- Natalie Portman in Viktor & Rolf: *sighs* I was a little disappointed in Natalie's look...especially since we are all coming off of the Black Swan high. I know she's sporting the baby bump and has that mommy glow, I don't think her gown pick was the best. The color was nice, but I definitely could've done without the red flower accent.
- Sandra Bullock in Jenny Packham: I'm not really sure if it was the dress or the bangs...but I wasn't head over beading in love with Sandy's look.
- Christina Hendricks in Romona Keveza: she is curvy and voluptuous to the max (in a good way), and the red on red looked superb, but I think the ruffle detail was a little much, especially for someone so top heavy already.
- January Jones in Versace: is that Jessica Rabbit on the carpet? Loved her hair and make-up...but I think her dress was a little much. The top half of the dress is not as glamorous as the bottom half, so I was disconnected.
- Heidi Klum in Marc Jacobs: She looked great!! Just I thought this was an awards show and not the beach resort. Sorry Heidi, but your look has to say auf wiedersehn.

Winner of the Side Eyes goes to: Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad.
