Guest Series: Lessons from a Personal Stylist

This is a guest post by Tatiana Jerome. We met through Twitter and she wanted to be a guest writer. I am so glad she contacted me. How fab is it to have tips from a personal stylist! Tatiana is a personal stylist and owner of the store Pink Cherie. You can feel free to contact her on Twitter too: @tatianajerome or on Facebook. Let's read about the season's hottest color...

As a personal stylist, one of my many jobs is to keep up with the latest trends. Questions that are typically asked are, what are designers picking up from everyday people and placing on their runways? As well as, what are being seen on the runways that will probably end up in your closet?

Well this season’s Spring and Summer must-have colors are peaches and light pinks. Celebrities such as Whitney Port and Kerry Washington are being caught with this bright summer-friendly look that accentuates undertones in complexions. This color is very popular in lace clothing and cotton material. While the sorbet variations of these colors were seen four seasons ago, and pastel was just two seasons ago, this color was invited to this season with a bit of flirtation and romanticism. Expect to see this color everywhere from dresses, to shoes, to bandage skirts.
