Update: SMARTLASH Review

Ok. So you all have waited long enough. I have received a lot of responses and e-mails asking me what happened with my trial of SMARTLASH. [See my original post: The Fashionisette Gets SMARTLashed] I will be very honest with you all. When I first received SMARTLASH, I used it everyday and night. After about 30 days, I did start to see results. I took before and after pictures on my camera, but I suffered a nasty PC virus, and my pics were erased (and naturally quick draw McGraw over here and already deleted the photos off the camera). So I was hesitant to speak on the product since I had no concrete proof to show you all. I used SMARTLASH on my eyebrows and lashes and noticed that both started to thicken. However, once I started slacking off with using the product, I noticed some eyelash fall-out and my eyebrows started to go back to the way they were pre-SMARTLASH. I was pleased with the results, but quickly learned that this is a regimen that needs to be kept up with...as with any product dealing with hair thickening and length promoting.

So my final verdict? I would recommend SMARTLASH to everyone to use. If you follow the instructions, I promise you, you will get results, without all of the scary side effects that the other lash enhancers come with. I didn't finish my bottle, and literally, right before writing this post, I decided to jumpstart my usage again. I'm sure I will need a new bottle soon.

Sorry to keep you all in waiting. But if you're using SMARTLASH, or decide to, please let me know how the product has worked (or even didn't work) for you! I am interested in your results too.

  1. I've been using it for a couple weeks and haven't seen much yet. Waiting anxiously and excited to see them grow!

  2. Why bother with something you have to keep paying for that has unknown long term side effects. In ten years you could be bald and blind. You should stop now before it's too late. Try extra coats of mascara instead....
Better to be safe than sorry.

  3. I'm 47 and noticed my naturally long eyelashes were thinning and turning gray. I didn't pay it much attention, though. I began using grapeseed oil as a facial moisturizer. After a few weeks I noticed my eyelashes were thicker, darker, even beginning to curl, and I haven't seen a gray eyelash in weeks. Grapeseed oil feeds skin and hair with numerous vitamins, etc., costs about 8 bucks a bottle (grocery store), and has no side effects.

    1. Will grapeseed oil make oily skin break out?

  5. Eyelash extensions and mascara are considered to be the traditional eyelash growth products but there are actually particular products that have been made to deliberately blacken, lengthen, and thicken the eyelashes. Nevertheless, one thing you have to know is that not everything can give you or satisfy your most longing. There are legions of eye growth products and some may promise some results but they are actually there for a run of your money, you so might as well be wiser.

  6. I don't think it is wise to recommend people to use this product on the basis of your eyelashes that fell out.. you said your hair goes back to what it was before but from the eyelash observation it sounds like there is something in smart lash your eye lashes don't like.. and I presume they weren't falling out before.
