MBFW: Naeem Khan S/S 12

On the last day of MBFW, which was the rainiest of the whole week, I was able to be in the rows at the Naeem Khan show on Thursday (courtesy of Entertainista.com). It seemed like forever to get inside, but it was way worth the wait! I think the mirrored runway prepped us all for the glamour we going to see. "Colorful. Racy. Glamour." were the three words on the run of show and accurately described what I saw. I am still thinking about this crystal-fringed t-shirt over a fuchsia satin organza ball skirt, pictured left. It is my absolute favorite look. I always love the juxtaposition of simple with drama. Loved the pops of color he used in between floral prints. And I had a major RZ moment when I saw these amazing caftans hit the runway. He opened the show with a garden floral printed charmeuse caftan and the easy breezy of it all swept me away. He ended the show by bringing the glamour with a silver metallic faille ballgown with crystal fringe bodice. I seriously cannot wait to see what he does for us next season.
