On Sunday, I had the privilege of attending the L'UVE S/S 12 runway show that was held at the studio at 833 Broadway in NYC. Guests were treated to complimentary champagne, Rose wine, and caviar (by EN-K de caviar). With my cup of Rose` in one hand, and caviar a top of cream cheese on mini-pancakes in the other (uber delish!!), I was ready for the show. Yes, we were fancy that night. While I was extremely unfamiliar about the collection, I instantly fell in love with it. The color palette may have been nude focused, but it was anything but boring. With pops of bright corals, turquoises, and mustard yellows, this tailored yet fluid collection is definitely a necessity for spring. The shoes were nothing to scoff at either...and they were in trend with color-blocked heels. This collection is perfect for your everyday, work, or when you just want to feel chic. And I always appreciate a collection of separates too...not to mention anything with dramatic, yet subtle, ruffle layers is always a win. Needless to say, j'adore L'UVE!
