In Love: Romona Keveza Bridal S/S 12

I most certainly do in this gown!

On April 9th (yes, I am so late with writing about this), I had the ultimate pleasure of viewing Romona Keveza's bridal collection for S/S 12. I have always been a HUGE fan of her designs, and to get an invite was this always-a-bridesmaid's dream come true! The gowns were absolutely breathtaking, Romona was such a delight (and looked fierce too), the hotel suite was regal (Hotel St. Regis), and the publicist who invited me was so sweet and extra attentive to everyone there. It was an intimate setting, which I highly enjoyed, and very organized. The photo to the left is my personal fave. It made me gasp. However, there was no lack of gasps for the entire collection. From red carpet to bridal to royally inspired, Romona captured my fashion heart.

The Royal Wedding 2011: Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - William and Kate

Yesterday was quite the Royal day. Prince William and Catherine Middleton were married at The Westminster Abbey. Kate looked simply gorge in her Sarah Burton (House of McQueen) gown, and Prince William looked dashing! Now they are officially the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (I think I want a title like that). I am thrilled that the event was televised. Thank goodness for DVRs and Twitter, since I was not one of the early risers.

I must say, the hat show that takes place at British weddings is amazing! I will now incorporate a hat rule at my wedding...whenever that shall be. Royal weddings, especially one that includes a "commoner" are extra special. You just have to be at the right place, at the right time, and be the right person. Congrats to the new royal couple!! And Bravo on the double kiss!

News: Mariah Carey gives birth to the twins!

According to Gawker, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are the proud parents of twins. On Saturday, Mariah gave birth to a boy and a girl on their 4th wedding anniversary. That's the best anniversary gift anyone could give. No baby names have been released yet, but I don't know about you, I just can't wait until the photos of the babies are released. Congrats you two!

Fashion Collabo: Emmy Rossum with Elie Tahari

You have to love when Hollywood and fashion decide to get together and create something gorge! Well, if you don't know what's hot for Spring, actress Emmy Rossum collaborated with the fabulous Elie Tahari to create a mini handbag (although the handbag is not mini, thank goodness) collection with the famed brand. The Emmy Bag, as it is called, comes in four different styles with fabrics in soft glove leather, natural raffia, and a metallic leather. The handbag, complete with a chic hanging metal detail, will come in natural, black, white, mushroom, yellow, and washed metallic. It has been available in stores since March 2011, and a portion of the proceeds go to the charity, Safe Horizon. It will be sold at the Elie Tahari Collection stores, and select Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Movie News: Will and Jaden to star in sci-fi movie...

The Smith train just keeps on rolling. I am loving that the new generation of Will and Jada are taking over. Will and Jaden are going to star opposite each other in a new sci-fi movie from (one of my fave directors) M. Night Shyamalan. I got the scoop from The Hollywood Reporter. The movie, which is still untitled, is set 1,000 years into the future and centers around a young boy who navigates through an abandoned, and sometimes scary, Earth to save himself and his estranged father after their ship crashes. Sounds like it could be a winner. Those Smith boys do have the midas touch, so I am looking forward to it. Seems Jada is also helping to produce it. Now if we could only find something for Willow to do...
