Shoe Love Quickie: Vince Camuto Designer Contest

Thanks to a doll of mine, @CGina, I A) discovered that Vince Camuto is holding a shoe design contest, and B) that I am in love with this design by an uber talented designer named Vanessa. If you didn't know, I am a major fan of Vince Camuto shoes (and have yet to own a pair, I know. I am shaking my head too. It's in the plans). But don't you just love this design?! Now, to be honest, I have not checked out the other contestants, but after seeing this one, I am already biased.

Ok...it's that time again for the hush hush Christian Louboutin sample sale. I really don't know why they keep it so covert. But we are always up for the challenge, right ladies? So, the scoop comes Racked NY, via Madison Ave Spy (who I just adore!). I love how they poked a little fun at Blake...

In any case, Madison Avenue Spy has the rundown. The sale will go from May 17 to May 20 at 306 West 38th Street, third floor, per usual. Hours are as follows: Tuesday (press day) and Wednesday, 8am to 6pm; Thursday, 9am to 5pm; Friday, 9am to 3pm. At previous sales, the (mostly crazy-colored) shoes have been priced anywhere from $150 to $400—so you better get their before Blake Lively. In a previous sale, Lively allegedly snagged 50 pairs before any of us normal folk even had a chance. 


So, now you have the details. Do with it what you may...but please don't push me out of the way. (I did not mean for it to rhyme, honest.)

Fallen Star: Model Mia Amber Davis Died

I am just shocked by this news! Full-figured supermodel, actress, and editor of Plus Model Magazine, Mia Amber Davis passed away. There are no details as of yet as to why she died, but it was officially announced today via Plus Model Magazine on Facebook and on Village Voice. Unfortunately, I never got to meet the gorge Mia, but I was looking forward to it during this year's Full-Figured Fashion Week in June. I will be sure to keep you informed as to any details.

She will definitely be missed!
