MBFW: Carlos Miele Fall 2012

I know I am so late with my Fashion Week coverage, so forgive me dolls. So I am catching up...and when it comes to being late, isn't it always better to be fashionably late?

Unfortunately, I couldn't make the Carlos Miele show this season like I wanted to. I didn't get a chance to make any shows under the tents that I was invited to because of work. But next season, I am totally living at Lincoln Center and not missing a beat. Carlos is hands down one of my favorite designers to see during MBFW. I appreciate his aesthetic and this season he was inspired by the cowgirls of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil's southernmost state). His theme was seen throughout with the hats, textiles, silhouettes, and from what I heard, the music. I love this collection and could definitely see myself wearing one of his capes, hats, and chic crepe pants down the streets of Manhattan.

Hats off to you senor Miele for another season well done!
