Red Carpet: 84th Annual Academy Awards [YES Edition]

Stacy Keibler in Marchesa
Tonight is the 84th Annual Academy Awards. So I hope you are watching, or as you might be reading this, watched. I was flipping between TV Guide, E!, and ABC for my red carpet coverage. Although, I stuck mainly with E! until the last half hour or so when I switched to ABC. [Btw, did you catch when "The Dictator", Sacha Baron Cohen, spilled "ashes" (or possibly Bisquick) or Ryan Seacrest?? I almost died. My mouth dropped open and I felt bad for his Burberry tux that did nothing to warrant such a mess.] Like 99% of us who watch awards shows, well maybe 98%, we must talk red carpet fashion. I, however, am over Kelly O.'s hair color choice and gasped when she mentioned that she doesn't like red dresses on the red carpet, at which point I looked at her hair color and gave a side eye.

Ok, I digress. Let's talk the winners I chose of the night! Of course, these are my opinions I am not a licensed Fashion Cop or anything.

[My thoughts: Stacy Keibler looked like liquid gold and was the perfect trophy date for George Clooney. Octavia Spencer could do no wrong with Tadashi. Jennifer Lopez always looks gorge and seriously gives 20-something y/o's a run for their money! Glenn Close looks amazing in that Zac Posen! She looked classy and young (but good young, not trying to hold on young). Giuliana Rancic was perfection, although I would've changed the shade of red lipstick. I love peplum and Tina Fey and Michelle Williams gave me what I needed tonight! However, Tina could've used bold color earrings instead, maybe green? Viola Davis brought natural beauty back! She looked stunning. Gwyneth Paltrow picked a fab white Tom Ford gown with a cape that didn't disturb me at all. And yes, Angelina Jolie looked stellar in her gown...but I thought her hair should've been pulled back. *for the celebs I didn't specifically mention, they just looked gorge and didn't need extra thoughts. P.S. Loved Jessica Chastain bringing her "nana" on the red carpet, who looked lovely in Marina Rinaldi.]
