Fashion News: Anna Dello Russo x H&M

It almost seems like every month H&M is announcing a new designer collabo. It kind of feels like the store is becoming a dept store instead of the brand it started out to be. But, I'm not complaining. The newest collection to hit the stores, the accessories collabo a la Anna Dello Russo. ADR, the iconic Fashion Director at Large and Creative Consultant at Vogue Japan, will be designing an accessories line for H&M. The bold statement making over-the-top baubles will include shoes (you know I am excited already), jewelry, sunglasses, bags, and a trolley? Yeah, that's right, a trolley. I have no clue, but I am definitely intrigued just as you are. “I am excited by this collaboration: this is the first time H&M involves a Fashion Director in a special project. This is the sign of an important evolution in fashion, and I am both thrilled and humbled to be the one chosen to lead it. I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find. As a stylist I know accessorization is essential: it is the personal touch to any outfit. With these pieces everybody can have fun, turning an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day,” ADR says. Can I just say, I love that she said accessorization. Anyhoo, the line will be hitting stores October 4th.
