MBFW: Noon by Noor S/S 13

**This is a guest post by one of my dolls, The Tiny Tie Rant (isn't that name too cool? Well, she's cool too). She attended the Noon by Noor show for moi on Friday. I'm so happy she was able to cover it! Her photos are amaze. Follow her on Twitter and Instagram @thetinytierant. Read her fab coverage below. **

Olivia Palermo
Whether it is daywear or evening wear, you can bet that designers Sheikha Noor Rashid Al Khalifa and Sheikha Haya Mohammed Al Khalifa of Noon by Noor will make you look elegant and feel luxuriously comfortable all the time. For their international debut at New York Fashion Week, their Spring/Summer 2013 collection offered breathtaking fineries encompassing neutrals, metallics, neons, and florals that blended so well with each other. No wonder, THE Olivia Palermo is a big fan. Here she is sitting front row, bedecked in Noon by Noor.

Upon closer look, the collection boasts stunning unexpected elements such as neon embroidery on a shimmery beige gown, rose-knotted shoulder designs on a brocade jacket and a coral dress, and metallic shorts. Noon by Noor also played around with linear patterns. A bronze pantsuit combo boasted vertical contrasting stripes on the blazer and leafy lines on the pants. The dresses were what goddess dreams are made of--- flowy chiffon and silk expertly draped into feminine lines with dramatic trains and leg baring slits. Each model seemed to float down the runway in a cloud of luxurious fabric billowing around them. All in all, Noon by Noor created an amazing collection that I would gladly don for work, play, and attending swanky soirees (not that I do much of the latter). This is definitely one design team to look out for.

Did you like it? What were the standout pieces in your eyes?
