Fitness Flash: Kettlebell Kickboxing

[I would like to introduce a friend of mine and a new weekly writer to the site - Nadia of Nadia's Healthy Lifestyle. We all know that fashion and fitness go hand in hand, as you not only need to look good, you need to feel good too. I'm thrilled to have Nadia as our fitness reporter dishing on how we can stay fit and healthy. Her weekly posts will be a part of our Fitness Flash. Check out her bio and contact info under the Contributors page.]

Kettlebell Kickboxing ™ is NOT a self defense or true martial arts class, kettlebell kickboxing takes all the most efficient, unique and beneficial motions of martial arts, kickboxing, boxing, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jujitsu in order to maximize the fitness benefits. What can you hope to gain from this fitness practice? Improved balance, agility, motor skills, power, strength, flexibility and max calorie burn. When the founder and creator of Kettlebell Kickboxing, Dasha Libin, started to put the combination of kettlebells and kickboxing (really martial arts) together she realized how effective it was. Her goal and mission was to CHANGE THE WAY WOMEN SEE THEMSELVES- inside & out!

In order to see results you only need to do Kettlebell Kickboxing ™ between two - four times a week. With the Kettlebell Kickboxing ™ Scorcher Series DVD you can easily squeeze in this recommended workout 3x a week (that is only 35-40 minutes a day, 3 days a week to TRANSFORM your body). Yesterday the Kettlebell Kickboxing studio hosted a holiday party created for women by women. This pop up event was a way to give back to their students and community. It also gave prospective new students the opportunity to check out the studio and participate in classes. Doors opened from 10am to 4pm with a live DJ that rocked the crowd, which included fashionable vendors, gourmet food and shopping! Unfortch I missed it, but that doesn't stop me from posting the pics and telling you all about it.

  1. I too believe that fashion and fitness go hand in hand. If one is not fit enough, he or she can't gain the confidence that should be present for fashion.I realized these words while learning Best Karate in Connecticut
