Stylish Snacks: SexyPop

Back here lately I have been on a maj popcorn binge...especially while watching Scandal with a glass of moscato. Usually, I pop one specific brand, but a little while ago my doll Justine turned me onto a sexier brand of popcorn. She sent me some full size samples of SexyPop and I dove right in. Of course the name grabbed me right away. SexyPop is the genius of snack megamind Robert Ehrlich (name doesn't ring a bell? Think Pirate's Booty and Veggie Booty), who wanted to change the face of this popular snack. SexyPop is made with Japanese popcorn (which means less hull and more taste). Popcorn is filled with antioxidants and fiber, so it is naturally healthy, and being healthier just makes you sexier. There are 5 flavors, Bangin' Cheddar, Lightly Salted, Black Pepper, Brazilian Coconut, and Light French Butter. So far I have tried Bangin' Cheddar, Lightly Salted, and Black Pepper. Let me just say, I am usually never a fan of cheddar popcorn. I have tried sooooo many brands and I hated them all, so I opened up Bangin' Cheddar knowing I wouldn't like it, but just to say I tried it I went for it. Well, to my surprise, I loved it!!! It was so good and I was so shocked. The cheddar flavor isn't overpowering at all, it's just the right amount to taste. The popcorn is light and airy and doesn't get stuck in my teeth like most (do you have that problem too?). I found myself just poppin away, and since it is low in calories, I justified my binge. The Lightly Salted was perfect. I love salt on my popcorn and I thought I might need more since it says 'lightly', but I didn't need to add or change a thing. You can pop as is. The Black Pepper is exactly that. If you are a fan of black pepper then you will like this flavor! I can't wait to try the other two flavors. They are all GMO Free, Cholesterol Free, and have Zero Trans Fat. It's about time popcorn got a sexy makeover.
