NYFW: Rolando Santana Fall 2014

You know my fashion week wouldn't be the same without seeing a new collection from Rolando Santana. As you all know, he is one of my favorite...if not my favorite, designer to see every season. I love everything off of his runway...and his collection for Fall was no different. The show was held at Eyebeam Studios...a venue that was busting at the seams with everyone anticipating what Rolando has in store. I have had the privilege of watching him grow since 2011. He really masters simple elegance and sophistication well. His tailoring is so precise and his silhouettes are so flattering. He kept to a simple color palette of blacks, whites, and a pale gray/lavender...which gave for a very clean runway. I loved the fur accents and sexy but modest mesh cutouts that raised the bar on his dresses. The collection offered day to night and everything in between. Plus, we have to talk about the fierce shoes...which are from his own collection. I loved the t-strap pump and pointy toe ankle boots. His Fall collection was full of luxe and everyday glamour. In one word, flawless. Looking forward to his Spring collection!

And of course I videoed the finale runway walk for you. (Sorry if it's not the best this time. I did the best I could where I was sitting. But I think you can see how gorge the runway looked in motion.)
