Yesterday I got the chance to celebrate the Grand Opening of one of my absolute new favorite stores, Five Below. I just started getting into Five Below earlier this year...but I traveled to LI (Old Country Rd) to get my fix. So you can imagine how happy I was to hear that it was coming to Gateway Drive in Brooklyn (Exit 15 off of the Belt Pkwy). If you're unfamiliar with Five Below...it's a hip, trendy, retail store that carries everything from room decor to tootsie rolls. It's a cool place to get your sweet tooth hit, school supplies, fashion accessories or apparel, dvds, books, tech gadgets, toys, beauty supplies, and more from only $1-$5. Yeah, I am kind of addicted. It's hard not to be when this store carries it all and makes you feel good shopping there. Five Below is a fun store where your budget can stay at anything but five below.

Special thanks to the manager and staff at Five Below for making my shopping experience fab! Mr. Wagner was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. I heard the store was chaotic earlier in the day, and with a minimal staff they rocked it out. Let me tell you, by the time I got there the lines were long and getting longer. But it all ran smoothly. And thanks NM for the invite!

Of course, by the checkout they try to get you!

Look at what I got: 4 notebooks, mustache Duck Tape,
Neutrogena makeup remover wipes, italian cookbook,
hair accessories, a Cute Selfie T-shirt, and candy. Tootsie
Rolls are 10 for $1, Smarties are 10 for $1, and my fave Gummi
Burgers are 4 for $1.
I only spent $34.28.

I didn't do too much damage. But it was a nice way to kick off my Labor Day Weekend!

*I received a gift card to shop, but this did not affect my opinions of the store. Plus I spent more than my gift card, so you know I love it! This was not a sponsored post. I was not paid to attend the opening or post.*
